Tokyo Crusaders kick off the season with a well attended rugby clinic Tokyo Crusaders held their first official training of the season near Kanamachi station on 2 September. More than 20 players showed up even though skies were grey and heavy with rain. This all important session got everyone on the same page, and sent the message that this will be a no-nonsense season on the field. The lads also enjoyed some well-deserved beer and pizza after training, with the message that nonsense is well embraced after the game. Thanks to Stewart “Tooley” Henwood and his family for arranging the day! Next up is practice on Sunday 9 September, meet at Nishi Chofu Station at 15:30. New players are also welcome! Get in touch right now if you’re interested.
