Rick van der Wees from The Bassets RFC in Holland visited our game today. Rick was in town on business and decided it would be more fun than sightseeing. He watched the game from the sideline and gave some well-thought-out advice at the end of a tight game that we could have won….but disappointedly, didn’t. Sorry, Rick.
Naturally we invited him to our aftermatch function, where he presented ‘his’ man of-the-match, Ian Miller, with a Bassets Club tie.
