Tokyo Crusaders played the classic Urayasu 10s tournament on 1 July under rain heavy skies and a gravel strewn excuse for a pitch.
With a bunch of new faces on the team, the Cru became more organized for every game but were narrowly denied advancement out of a tough group. The big take aways of the day were some excellent cross-overs in the backs, a brilliant 40 m try by Evan, and post-match beverages from our good friends in Sapporo.
