On Sunday, April 30th, Tooley attended the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the Tokyo Masters League. The dinner was held in the ballroom of a Tokyo hotel, and there were representatives of many teams from the Tokyo Club Rugby scene. There had been a tournament that day involving the teams in the Masters league (including our own Shuto League old-boys team, Phoenix RFC), with Fevers RFC taking the honours.
So, if you get too old to compete with the young’uns, there is a great league for the old’uns. Perhaps one day, the Tokyo Crusaders RFC might make a team of our own: the Tokyo Crusaded RFC.
