Tooley Turns Out for The Phoenix

On Sunday the 27th of October Tooley turned out for the Shuto League OB “old fogey’s” team, the Phoenix RFC, at the Tokyo Masters Rugby Festa at the Tatsumi Ground. There were 6 teams and the Phoenix RFC came in 2nd, losing to the Fevers RFC by 2 points. Tooley played 4 of the 5 13-minute games, and managed to survive the day without having to use an AED. Commenting at the end of the day, Tooley said,“It was an interesting change playing with guys around my own age….still couldn’t score a bloody try, though.”
